En el siguiente ejercicio deberás escribir nuevamente las oraciones pero tendrás que hacerlo utilizando el plural de los sustantivos:

Futuro Cercano y otras formas de expresarlo

Ya hemos explicado como se construye el Futuro Simple para hacer mención de situaciones que se producirán en un tiempo posterior:

He will travel to Europe.
Él viajará a Europa.

They will play the guitar at the theatre.
Ellos tocarán la guitarra en el teatro.


En esta oportunidad veremos otras maneras de expresar situaciones que también ocurrirán en el futuro, aunque más cercano. Para ello utilizaremos la fórmula TO BE (correspondiente a cada pronombre) + GOING TO + VERBO PRINCIPAL EN INFINITIVO, por ejemplo:

I am going to play soccer this afternoon.
Voy a jugar al fútbol esta tarde.

You are going to study the lesson.
Tú vas a estudiar la lección.

He is going to finish his work.
Él va a terminar su trabajo.

They are going to have lunch in five minutes.
Ellos van a ir a almorzar en cinco minutos.


También es posible utilizar el Presente Simple para describir una acción en el futuro que está totalmente planeada:

Next week I travel to Spain.
La próxima semana viajo a España.
(Se hace referencia a una acción
que ya se ha decidido y planificado)

Tomorrow I start my diet.
Mañana comienzo la dieta.


Otra forma de describir una acción futura y cercana puede ser a través del Presente Continuo, aunque en este caso es necesario mencionar en que momento tendrá lugar el suceso ya que puede prestarse a confusión entendiendo que es algo que se está desarrollando en el presente, por ejemplo:

I am studying the lesson tonight.
Estudiaré la lección esta noche.
(Totalmente decidido y planificado)

We are travelling to New York next week.
Viajaremos a New York la próxima semana.
