Review Exercise: Reported Speech X (Lenguaje Indirecto)

Hoy te traemos el último de una serie de ejercicios de repaso sobre reported speech o lenguaje indirecto. Esperamos que te hayan servido para comprender mejor el uso de este recurso gramatical de uso tan frecuente en el idioma inglés. Debes pasar las siguientes oraciones teniendo en cuenta de colocar los verbos en su tiempo correspondiente:

Review Exercise: Reported Speech VII (Lenguaje Indirecto)

Hace ya un tiempo les explicábamos la forma de pasar una frase a lenguaje indirecto, es decir el empleo de una estructura gramatical para contar o hacer referencia sobre algo que otra persona a dicho con anticipación. Hoy te proponemos un nuevo ejercicio de repaso -con un grado mayor de dificultad- para que puedas comprender mejor su buen uso:


  1. “It is not allowed to smoke inside the building”, the guard said.

  2. Tom asked: “Did you enjoy the meeting?”

  3. “Who is the new student?”, the teacher asked.

  4. “I will punish you if you talk to me like that”, my mother said.

  5. Carl said: “This is the most difficult exercise I have ever done”.

  6. “Have you bought the new book?”, my mother asked me.
